Ingredients
- 2 avocados, seeded, peeled and chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/3 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 tomato, seeded and chopped
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Place chopped avocado into a bowl or container. Squeeze lime juice over avocado chunks, tossing to coat completely. Using a fork or potato masher, mash avocado until no longer in chunks, but not completely smooth. Some texture is desirable.

Add remaining ingredients and gently mix until well combined.

Taste and adjust seasoning as desired. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing wrap right down on top of guacamole to help prevent browning. Place in refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before serving. Keep plastic wrap pressed to top of guacamole inside an airtight container for storage. Enjoy quickly – it will brown in a day or two.
